

All workshops involve hands on activities with a range of animals.
Junior Zoologist part 1
Calling all potential zoologists and animal keepers! This workshop is unique chance to find out about animals and how we care for them. There is an opportunity to meet and help keepers with many hands on experiences with a variety of animals.
Workshops Dates for 2008 :
5 -7 years 1st April and 8th April
8-12 years 2nd and 9th April
12-15 years 3rd April and 10th April
Primate Day
This workshop looks at the primates that we keep at the Park. Meet the lemur, squirrel monkeys and other primates, learn about them and take part in many hands on activities.
5-7 years 27th May
8-12 years 28th May
‘So you want to be an animal keeper?’
This day is designed especially for young people who want to work with animals. As well as hands on activities, there are opportunities to meet keepers, find out about their job and get practical advice about how to follow this career.
12 years and over 29th May
Junior Zoologist part 2
Following on from the previous ‘Junior Zoologist day’, this workshop provides more hands on experiences and opportunities to meet and help keepers as well as a chance to learn even more!

Each workshop costs £35 per child. Lunch not included.
